Monet has brought hope and light into so many peoples lives. She is a magnificent healer with a warmth and caring attitude that sets her apart from other healers. Her animation and humor bring an added dimension that brings levity to some desperate situations. In my case I felt stuck. I couldn't release a past trauma, that was causing pain in my stomach therefore causing apprehension in my life stopping me from moving forward. After a session with Monet I felt healed immediately; my stomach was at ease. Thank you for your assistance, Lynn

Words cannot begin to express the gratitude I feel for everything you have done for me. I thank the heavens often for bringing us together. I'm looking forward to getting even healthier with your guidance. You are truly a remarkable woman. Thank you for sharing your gift. Carolyn

When I first felt Monet's energy at a presentation, every cell of my body rejoiced because she worked with the high energy of "Great Spirit" and the Archangels. She has a superb way of teaching. I needed a teacher to help me recover my energy. I had taken on pain of others and their thoughts causing me discomfort and illness. I knew Monet was and is a spirit with the wisdom and ability to teach me a new way to heal and to work with others. Thank you for your support and teaching me to live in a healthy way. Judy

Monet, thank you for helping me to be a better person. I absolutely love, accept and protect myself! I also thank you for giving me the tools to open myself up to receive all the miracles and gifts that are coming to me. I never realized that life can be this enjoyable. You have changed my life forever! Love, Chris

Monet, My last healing with you was so intense and wonderful. I want to thank you for making me feel so special. The morning after seeing you . I was vibrating so high. I awakened and heard an angel plain as day say "Good Morning". (It was awesome!) I am touched by your warmth and wisdom. Kim

I had a private Medical Intuitive session with Monet. She was able to see my heart condition. I was shocked! I recently went to the doctor and was diagnosed with atrial fibulation and congested heart failure. I hadn't even told my wife yet. I received a series of private healing sessions and she taught me tools to keep myself balanced and well. I am thankful for the gifts Monet has given to me and my family. I only have so many heart beats left. I see every day with gratitude and joy. Thank you Monet for your education, love and helping me take a part in my healing. Sincerely, Ed, "The Healing Heart"

"My wife or I, never had our our chakras read, tarot cards or our souls probed before and we were skeptical but open to the experience.

"I one word...'WOW.' We were slack-jawed and teary eyed by the depth and accuracy of our readings. You can't make this stuff up. There is too much detail and too much accurate insight. It became a couples therapy session with a third party that seemed to know more about us then we did," stated Chris Conroy. "Thank you Monet."

Monet Brooks-Camp says she started to talk to angels at the age of 6. The first time she attended a funeral, at age 7, she says the dead person's spirit accompanied her home and stayed for days afterward. Finally, at 10, angels told her that she would be spending her life helping others.

All those experiences have led her to become a clairvoyant, commonly known as a psychic or an intuitive. Clairvoyants can see things that the objective eye cannot.

And because those "objective eyes" seem to be fascinated with what they can learn from clairvoyants, Brooks-Camp has been making a living with her mystic intuition, leading self-improvement parties in private Marin homes not unlike the Tupperware parties our mothers attended.

But with a markedly different result.

"This experience was so completely different from everyday life," said Chris Thompson of Sausalito, who recently attended a clairvoyant party in Sausalito at which Brooks-Camp shared her wisdom. "I was able to use somebody else's wisdom and insight to help me navigate through life."

With America's heightened focus on health and well-being, and the added complication of hectic schedules of working adults, clairvoyant parties have a dual purpose: partygoers get to socialize with friends while receiving a spiritual tune-up. One visitor might show up wanting to find out if Mr. Right will pop the question, while another may be seeking inner peace.

What guests take away in their party favor bags will be just as unique. Although the format used by a clairvoyant might be similar from party to party, the human aspect is what insures that no two parties are alike.

Brooks-Camp, who gave up 20 years as respiratory therapist to do clairvoyancy work full-time, has been leading two to four clairvoyant parties per week for the past few years, often in Marin. She is also a minister.

At the party in Sausalito, almost a dozen people attended, including one man. Most of the guests had preconceived notions of what to expect from Brooks-Camp. For Colleen Ryan of Mill Valley, it was to expand her spirituality. "I'm hoping this experience will deeply strengthen my relationship with God and prove to be a step forward on my path. I think it will be a warm, fun experience," Ryan said.

Once all the guests had nibbled on appetizers and caught up with friends, they settled down into a circle in the living room. After a brief introduction and explanation of how she came to be a clairvoyant. Brooks-Camp prepared them for what was to come. The first step: closing their eyes while she led them through a grounding meditation. "Grounding" is the act of creating an energy cord from a body to the center of the earth.

Then she weaved in and out of guests while playing the didgeridoo, the tubelike aboriginal Australian instrument, to produce the what she called the sounds of Mother Earth. Stopping at each partygoer, she allowed the healing powers of Mother Earth to tune in on the body parts apparently needing attention. Curiosity periodically won over some of the guests as their one-eyed squints spotted each other.

What happened next proved to be the highlight of the evening - individual readings. Each guest took a turn in the "hot seat," a red velvet chair in the middle of the room that faced Brooks-Camp. Once planted, the guest received a reading and then had the opportunity to ask questions from the specific - "Should I move to Arizona?" - to the general - "What is my life path?"

As the readings progressed, eyes welled and jaws dropped. Those who knew the person in the hot seat were amazed and excited by the information revealed. And those who didn't know the person still felt a deep connection to Brooks-Camp's words.

"I felt a parallel with them and I pulled stuff from what they were told to apply it in my own life," says Helena Fitzgerald of Petaluma.

Then it was back to social hour. Before wine was poured, silly grins filled the room. The attendees were reminiscent of small children coming off Santa's lap having asked for their most-desired Christmas toys. Since most of the partygoers were friends, they gathered around talking about the accuracy of one another's readings.

A woman from Tiburon named Barbara, who preferred not to have her last name revealed, says, "I was really surprised when she channeled. She was fascinating to watch. She told me I was a storyteller. I travel all over the globe to attend storytellings! I feel very much at peace."

But clairvoyant parties can put guests in vulnerable positions and may not be suited for everyone. Colleen Ryan, the party host's hairdresser, left shortly after the clairvoyant readings, uncomfortable with having her life issues exposed like an open book for all to read.

"Monet was right on the mark; she changed the consciousness of how I think," Ryan said. "She discussed things on my mind I am trying to work on. The experience was validating, but I personally don't feel comfortable doing it in a group. I would go back to her, but in a one-on-one setting."

"Personal fulfillment is about your truth," said Brooks-Camp. "You create your truth through your thoughts. The angels are like cheerleaders. They will support you in your truth."
